Japan Trip 2012 with Wisconsin Dells students

Hello~ this is Yuka from Arlington Heights branch.
The students from Wisconsin and myself just returned from Japan trip and not to mention, we had a BLAST.

For years, it has been a tradition for a group of students to visit Japan through our agency and the students experience the culture, become acquainted with the customs, and most importantly havf fun in a whole new world. This year, we enjoyed sight-seeing in Kyoto, Hiroshima (Miyajima), and Tokyo.

Everyone, including myself, was excited about riding the bullet train, relaxing in the hot springs, and stuffing our faces with many delicious Japanese cuisine.

The night in Miyajima was certainly a memorable stay...
Tempura, Sashimi, Egg custard(Chawan-mushi)...so many unique yet appetizing foods!!
We all devoured our meal within minutes by using chopsticks and wearing the yukata.

At first the students were "shy" to enter the hot spring “onsen”. However, they seemed to have gotten used to it after the first try and some were even going back three times in one night!
As a Japanese, I was happy to see  the students trying out new things and appreciating our ways.

Most of the stay, the boys got a kick out of eating snacks (the momiji- manjyu was a hit! If you ever have a chance to go to Miyajima, please try it out~ ) while the girls spent the day shopping for wagashi & cute accessories.

The pictures we took cannot compare to how much fun I had with these students, and the experiences were priceless!

On a side note, do you know what "IACE" stands for?
It is an abbreviation for INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CULTURAL EXCHANGE.
We pride in offering the chances for many people to interact with different cultures to acknowledge each other.

While I have rediscovered many things about Japan in this trip, I would love for our clients to familiarize it themselves through their own eyes.
We can assist you with a trip that is not only exciting, relaxing, and pleasant, but a journey you will never forget.
